Storytelling Project - Gujrat Schools

The images and stories below represent the storytelling project produced by students at the Government Girls School, Chak Kamala (GGSCK) and the Government Girls School, Municipal Model School, Chak Mirram (GGSMMSCM) in the town of Gujrat, Pakistan.  For brevity, the artifacts are labeled as GGSCK (Government Girls School, Chak Kamala) or GGSMMSCM (Government Girls School, Municipal Model School, Chak Mirram).  Each story includes an image of daily life taken by the student(s), the original Urdu/English text written by the student(s), and the English translation of the Urdu stories. In some cases, students provided their own English translation or wrote the story only in English.  In such cases, the English version is included as written by the student to maintain authenticity.  In this project, students did not title their stories. Titles were added by the project team to complement the stories.
